In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top 5 Maps and Navigation applications in the Czech Republic exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at their performance.

Mapy.cz: maps & navigation saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads. Starting at 11.8K at the end of September, downloads dipped to 5.6K by late November but rebounded to 10.1K by the end of December. Weekly active users also showed some variability, starting at 263.4K and ending at 224.6K, with a notable dip to 195.8K in late November.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a consistent yet fluctuating download trend. Weekly downloads began at 8.9K in late September, dropped to 4.9K at the end of November, and rose again to 7.8K by the end of December. Active users showed a similar pattern, peaking at 74.8K in late October before declining to 57.8K by the end of December.

Czech Public Transport IDOS maintained a steady download rate throughout Q4 2021, starting at 8.1K and ending at 9.6K. The app’s weekly revenue peaked at $134 in late October and saw minor fluctuations before closing the quarter at $97. Active users started at 775.5K, peaked at 793.8K in early October, and ended at 605.9K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a declining trend in weekly downloads, starting at 8.3K at the end of September and reaching 4.7K by early December before a slight increase to 7.9K by the end of the year. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 547.1K and ending at 516.3K, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

PID Litacka experienced a steady but low download rate, starting at 3.4K and ending at 2.4K. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at 17.3K at the end of September and ending at 16.3K by the end of December.
